Hurricane Bong Features
Air-Jets

Every hurricane bong features 3 or 6 air-jet punctures along the walls of the bong. These jets are what give the hurricane bong its name. As air is sucked through the bong, smoke rises in a spiral fashion along the inner wall filtering tar particles out of the smoke providing a smoother, cleaner smoking experience for the user.
Ashcatcher

All hurricane bongs come with an ashcatcher. The purpose of an ashcatcher is to prevent ash and solid matter from entering the main chamber of the bong by catching it in the water of the ashcatcher bubble. The ashcatcher helps keep the water in the main chamber cleaner and some users report that the smoke is much fresher and smoother tasting.
Carb / Rush

The nickel sized hole on the base of hurricane bongs is a carb (or rush). When smoking a hurricane, the user must cover the carb with his or her finger while filling the bong with smoke. When they are ready to enhale the smoke or "clear" the bong, they simply remove their finger and enhale. The addition of a carb takes away much of the hassle of removing the bowl from the bong to clear the smoke.
